HarrieH's classic track bike project
A track bike has the beauty of simplicity. No distraction of cables, bottle holders, pumps and other accessories. Just a frame, fork, drivetrain, steering components and something to sit on will do the job on a track. Some parts I already have for decades, others I have to collect. It's fun to look for the right components, to get them, build up the bike and, of course, ride it on the velodrome.
Oh, besides track, lots of (off-)road stuff as well.

Understated

Eddy Merckx Corsa Extra artwork as I think it should be.

Aluminium colour seat post, stem and handlebars, black saddle, white bar tape, black / anthracite rims, black/tan tyres, stainless steel spokes.

Eddy Merckx Cora Extra

New road bike project coming up: Eddy Merckx Corsa Extra.
I got an ugly yellow frame in good condition and my size, so it's a nice starting point.
The frame will be shotblasted and resprayed.
The colour will be silver grey and decal style from around 1980.
Bike will be assembled with Nuovo Record, some Super Record and a few pantoed parts.
